We are all a product of our past. We have the power to modify our life's outcome but will always be influenced by what we have lived through.

Raised in the San Fernando Valley, attending local Catholic and Public schools, and a self-proclaimed “recovering juvenile delinquent,” Dr. Trudeau sought nothing more than to exit formal education and join the school of hard knocks. After being “knocked around” for almost a decade, he once again took on the challenge of a formal education. So without ever taking the SAT’s he enrolled in and received an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Los Angeles Valley College. Then accepted to California State University Northridge, he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He then was accepted to Ryokan College in Los Angeles where he received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate of Arts in Counseling Psychology.

During this period of education and self-discovery, he met the love of his life, Mary. They married in 1997 and have a beautiful young son, Devin.

Dr. Trudeau was accepted as a Psychological Assistant by Iraj Broomand Ph.D. at Stirling Behavioral Health Institute in Westlake Village, California. After completing his internship and receiving his license as a Psychologist in California, he continues to hold the position of School Services Coordinator for Stirling’s School Based Mental Health program and provides liaison for Los Angeles Department of Mental Health to Las Virgenes Unified School District.

During the last few years he has; been a special jury consultant to Teen Court for the City of Calabasas, Ca., given special presentations on special needs children to Pepperdine University, guest lectured at West Los Angels College on Interpersonal Communications, advises the Juvenile Team for Los Angels County Sheriffs at Lost Hills station in Agoura, Ca., is a special consultant to Agoura Hills Teen Advisory Committee, appeared on the National Public Radio program “Emotional Fitness” hosted by Dr. Barton Goldsmith, and continues motivational speaking engagements for groups, schools, and organizations.
