Raised in the San Fernando Valley, attending local Catholic
and Public schools, and a self-proclaimed “recovering
juvenile delinquent,” Dr. Trudeau sought nothing more
than to exit formal education and join the school of hard knocks.
After being “knocked around” for almost a decade,
he once again took on the challenge of a formal education. So
without ever taking the SAT’s he enrolled in and received
an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Los Angeles Valley
College. Then accepted to California State University Northridge,
he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
He then was accepted to Ryokan College in Los Angeles where
he received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology
and a Doctorate of Arts in Counseling Psychology.
During this period of education and self-discovery, he met
the love of his life, Mary. They married in 1997 and have a
beautiful young son, Devin.
